LOUISVILLE PHYSICIANS TO HOLD PRESS BRIEFING MONDAY TO GIVE ABIOCOR IMPLANTABLE REPLACEMENT HEART UPDATE
(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) - Drs. Laman Gray and Robert Dowling, the University of Louisville surgeons who implanted the world's first AbioCor Implantable Replacement Heart at Jewish Hospital, will hold a press briefing Monday, July 16 at 1 p.m. (EDT), at the Rudd Heart and Lung Center Conference Center on the Jewish Hospital campus, 201 Abraham Flexner Way. The surgeons will provide an update on the patient's condition and the clinical events that have occurred during the last two weeks.
Following the update, Drs. Gray and Dowling will answer questions.
The news conference will be up-linked live via satellite coordinates Ku-Band SBS 6, Transponder 5, Horizontal Frequency 11823 MHZ, 74 degrees West. The audio frequency is 6.20/6.80. The signal will be available from 1-2:30 p.m. (EDT), Monday, July 16.
