Jewish Hospital Foundation announces Christerson
Nursing Scholarship
Louisville, KY. – Members of
the Grand Lakes Yacht Club, friends of the Christerson's, are
working with the Jewish Hospital Foundation in establishing the
Tom Christerson and Family Nursing Scholarship.
His friends initiated the scholarship
to recognize the outstanding nursing care Mr. Christerson received
while he was a patient at Jewish Hospital. The scholarship will
be used to certify nurses in the cardiovascular field, with an
emphasis on technology.
The nursing candidates may attend any
accredited nursing school.
As part of the Friends for Nursing
Scholarship Program, the Jewish Hospital Foundation will oversee
the Christerson Scholarship Fund. The goal is to award the first
scholarship during the Fall of 2003.
